A corn or clavus is an often-painful corn shaped inwardly directed callus of dead skin that forms at a pressure point near a bone or near a weight bearing part of body. It can interfere with walking or can cause discomfort. Safe removal of corns performed at our clinic after injecting an anaesthetic solution into the lesion to relieve pain and discomfort.
